More art, photography, and science, anyone? Along with Sherlock and Supernatural oops.
We’re not trying to play fandom police, we’re just trying to spread the word as we’ve only just come across this.
I don’t get it. The very lovely girls behind “Baker Street Babes” are very keen (and rightfully so) on trying to protect the privacy of the actors they like,…
Actually you’re incorrect, the photos of Martin’s children were not obtained by legal means. It was an unsolicited photograph taken by a fan. Amanda has said SO MANY TIMES that they keep their children out of the public eye and had NO idea that photo was being taken. We won’t even get into child and privacy laws in the UK. So, first off, let’s get that straight. Secondly, I do not believe anyone likes the fact the paparazzi get paid to do what they do. Sadly they do, especially in LA and London. There are plenty of people here on tumblr who don’t reboot pap photos. There are plenty who do. It is unfortunately legal, so that line is, for better or for worse, quite clean cut. Someone hacking into a celebrity’s Facebook, YouTube, twitter, etc and STEALING private photographs and video and posting it for public consumption is an entirely different matter. If someone went into your diary for example and took entries from it and posted it on a popular website where thousands would see it, wouldn’t you think that horrible? No, this isn’t the same case, but I hope you understand why paparazzi photos do not equal private photographs being posted without knowledge or permission. And I do not care what fandom may or may not “thrive off of,” in NO case is it acceptable to compromise another human being’s privacy for “fun.” I do not care how famous they are. I do not mean to sound like I am lecturing you, but there were many things you wrote that I had a major issue with. Also apologies if there are any weird typos and autocorrects, I am typing on my phone.
